This week: We will retell a story entitled “Porridge for Everyone” and write a journal entry about peace. In math, we focus on multiple strands of grade level concepts with a specific learning center focus on addition computation. We will continue our first Social Studies unit entitled “Looking at Places.” The students have their own copy of this unit on their google drive and can access it from home (via their Wolf Creek email account) if they want to enrich their studies of this topic at home.
The Remembrance Day ceremony is Monday, November 6, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in the gym. If you are able to attend, we are reciting the In Flanders Field poem. Library Day is day 3 Thursday, November 9, 2017. We continue to practice digital citizenship while on Chromebooks (click, view, search, type—appropriate and expected behavior). Have a great week!
