“If your thinking is influenced by idealism, limited by expectation, filled with worst-case scenarios, or overly focused on what others think, our ability to parent with intention and clarity is impaired. We blindly resort to an over-parenting style that only complicates our efforts to achieve a happy, cooperative family” (p. 76).

This week: We will retell a book entitled “Benjamin and Tulip” and write a journal entry about a candy house. In math, we focus on multiple strands of grade level concepts with a specific learning center focus on subtraction. We continue our science unit entitled “Hot and Cold Temperatures.” The students have their own copy of this unit on their google drive and can access it from home (via their Wolf Creek email account) if they want to enrich their studies of this topic at home.
Library day is Monday, November 20 day 3. We continue to practice digital citizenship while on Chromebooks (click, view, search, type—appropriate and expected behavior). Have a great week!
